To our english reading friends- A brief summary of -07

Year 207 will be a year to remember for the Jonsson’s. A lot of things have happened during this past year, many blessing have come our way.

Here are some few things that we will remember:
Tove and Henrik got married in June
Tim graduated from Fryshuset (high school)
Patrik started a new work at ICA
Mia is running here business
Adam started high school
Miranda is getting solo song in school
Max was recruited to play for Djurgården in handball

One single event that will be remembered is when Tove and Henrik got married in Västerhaninge Temple a beautiful day in June. To our delight Tove hart was swept away by Henrik, a big surprise when Tove early declared that she wanted to finish nursing school before marriage etc. When the planning of the marriage started Mia and I soon realized that the beginning of June would be a tough one, Tim that would graduate from high school and a marriage, within a week!

But the time went by so fast, a beautiful morning in June Henrik wedded Tove at Västerhaninge Temple. It was a very special moment, to be there when your first daughter gets married to a good husband. They were so beautiful together. When the ceremony was over pictures where taken and we took of to eat a family dinner at Tyresö slott. In the evening a wedding reception with all family and friends closed the wedding day. Tove and Henrik traveled to Greece for a short honeymoon, before they started to work over the summer.

Tim started to face -07 with an injured knee and the last semester in high school. In February he got the knee fixed by one of the best surgeons in the field. With physiotherapy and lot of training he is fully recovered and is know playing basket again. Top scorer in the team! In the beginning in June he graduated from Fryshuset high school to face the challenges of the adult world. In the fall he got his driving license, know we never see the car!
Mia has been busy with her firm giving classes in style and color. She has developed a course for color consultants that no one have done before in Sweden. The challenge she now faces is to find enough strength to work perfect it more. During the fall she got employed by the church distribution center at Västerhaninge Temple. Congrats!

Patrik have seen some different challenges during the year. In June hi started to work for ICA, company with over 2000 grocery store in Scandinavia. He works as manager over the system development team that handles Ica´s central logistics system, the hart. If it stops ICA logistics stops. He´s enjoying it and needs to put in allot of hours now in the beginning. During the year Patrik have faced two major physical challenges: Vätternrundan, 300 km on a bike, Birkebeinerrittet 90 km mountain bike in the Norwegian mountains! To face them he practiced allot. During 2008 he will take them on once more, he didn´t get enough, and add Vasaloppet to that. 90 km on ski between Sälen and Mora. The biggest challenge in that is to find snow to practice on.

After graduation and marriage the Jonsson went on a nice vacation to Spain for some weeks. We couldn’t get enough sun and salt water, nice waves and new food. Look at the pictures!
Max is doing what he loves the most: play handball, in school and for a new team, Djurgården. During the years he have been struggling with his tachycardia, but finally right medicine have done the trick and he have gained strength, speed and one the most hard shooting boys in Stockholm. Fighting spirit would his coach use to describe him. During a game he got his tooth knocked out, 10 minutes later he was back in the game. This wasn´t the first time it was knocked out but it still hurts. If you want to follow his team, http://www.difhandboll.se/.
Another basket player and guitarist have developed his talents during the year. Adam has developed a skill to play the guitar that amazes his parents. The music maybe won’t be played in church, but it´s great fun to hear him develop his skills. He plays the lead guitar in his band Parah. Basket takes a big part of his time, the team he plays for is unbeaten for more than a year, and the only loss came to a top European team. It´s great fun to watch. Adam started at Fryshuset high school but due to long travel time he has decided to go to a high school closer to home. Good luck at your new school!

Miranda has developed her talent to sing. She takes solo song lesson now and we´re waiting for her to sing in her first concert. One talent she has developed is to play the piano. She fills the house with music. In school she takes a big responsibility a friend’s supporter, takes care of those who are in need of help that needs a friend. She´s a great example for all of us.

We’re so grateful for all the blessing we have received during the year. We hope that we can spend more time with family and friends this coming year. God bless you all and a Happy New Year.
